Just as Chinese player Wu Yize was preparing to take a shot, the woman shouted, “Nobody should have to pay the TV license fee.” The referee immediately rushed toward her, and security personnel escorted her out of the venue. Fortunately, Wu Yize was not affected. The audience applauded the swift response from the referee and security team, with some fans shouting, “Well done.”
This marked the second interruption in Wu Yize’s match within just 15 hours, following a previous protest.
